Our engineering team has developed a multifunction board called McBoard. Based on an LPC2138 coupled to a peripheral board using an expansion connector, it allows for an easy update of the microcontroller. The peripheral board has LCD, LEDs, buzzer, EEPROM, temperature sensor, RS232, RS485, I2C (x2), SPI, CAN, USB, ethernet, A/D, two expansion connectors, debugger port, audio input/output, and reset. Using the MCBoard, a 3-day training course in ARM7 technology was developed.
