MB family overview

NXP MultiByte^TM advanced BiCMOS family combines the low power dissipation and low noise of BiCMOS with the high speed and high output drive of bipolar products. Devices in the MB family can operate at either TTL or CMOS logic input levels. MB family devices operate from a power supply range of 4.5V to 5.5V.

The use of plastic Quad Flat Packaging (QFP or PQFP) helps to reduces AC skew. Also, ground bounce effects have been minimized through the use of multiple GND and V_CC pins.

Nearly all device types are available in both HC and HCT versions. HCT devices support TTL input levels.
