The LPC2101, LPC2102, and LPC2103 comprise a series of 70MHz, 32-bit ARM7TDMI-S™ microcontrollers with 8 to 32KB of zero wait-state on-chip flash. The lowest-priced part, the LPC2101, starts at only USD $1.47 for 10 Kpcs, making it an attractive alternative to lower performing 8- or 16-bit MCUs. Blending high performance (63 Dhrystone MIPs) with low power consumption in a tiny 7mm x 7mm LQFP48 package makes the part ideal for almost any application.

These cost-effective processors are stuffed with a variety of peripherals, including 10-bit ADCs, 4 timers, and multiple I2C, SPI, and UART interfaces. The series also features several new power-saving modes and fast general-purpose I/O, allowing more flexibility for designers. The code and peripherals are fully-compatible with all of the other members of the NXP LPC2000 family, which has nearly 30 members and continues to grow.
