AHC(T) family overview

This Advanced High-Speed CMOS (AHC and AHCT) family of logic devices from NXP Semiconductors offers many of the same functions found in our High-Speed CMOS (HC/T) family. However, it has higher performance and lower power consumption than the HC/T while maintaining competitive prices. Additionally, NXP Semiconductors now guarantees AHC/T products to operate over an extended temperature range of -40°C to 125°C with no cost increase to the customer.

The AHC/T family of products is ideally suited for notebook, telecom infrastructure, and portable applications. Operation at both 5V and 3.3V further extends its application into new designs and facilitates migration of existing designs to low-voltage systems because it is truly a mixed-voltage product.

The family includes gates, octals, MSI, and 16 bit-wide devices. It is also functionally and pin-for-pin compatible with the HC/T family of products.
